Honor Flights

An all-volunteer group has been conducting flights to Washington, DC for some months now for World War II veterans.  Because many are in their 80s and even older, this is one of the last chances that they will have for recognition of their sacrifices.

I had the honor to be with one of these groups from Northern California in April 2012, and prepared a documentary video of their visit.  It was a marvelous experience to talk with these men and women about their service.

I encourage you to get involved with this important work.  One of the simplest things to do, is to see them off at their home airport or welcome them here in the Washington, DC area.
